He is also pursuing MBA at Dayanand Sagar College of Engineering, Department of Management studies.

      FINANCE FESTIVAL SERIES - 2019:

      As part of the course “Investment Analysis and Portfolio Management”, Finance Festival series for the year 2019 was conducted on 4th October, 2019. The theme of the Finance Series was “IPO Information Festival, 2019”.

      The Festival aimed at providing a platform for all students and faculty members of Management to understand the key aspects in understanding, judging and evaluating the ongoing Initial Public Offer’s (IPO’s) in the primary markets.

       

      The Festival was mainly conceptualized on 4th October, 2019 due to the reason that, there were 6 major companies which were in pipeline for obtaining subscriptions from the public through book building process from September 30th, 2019. Thus, an analysis was conducted through primary and secondary sources of information by the student teams of the Batch 2018-20 to provide various reasons for outperformance/non-performance of the IPO’s during the Book Building process.

      The IPO Information Festival was inaugurated by Dr. K.G.Hemalatha, HOD, Department of Management Studies in presence of all the faculty members, students of Batch 2018-20 and Batch 2019-21.

      For the IPO Festival, 6 IPO’s were considered by the student teams for presentations. The companies were as follows:

      4. IRCTC Limited
      5. Goblin India Limited

      ORIGIN: As per the culture of Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering, since 2014, Department of Management Studies, organizes an inter and intra collegiate Financial Event Club for aspirants assembling from various Business schools with a very highly competitive spirit to participate and with the strong determination to include their achievements & accomplishments to their resumes. The festival is organized every year with the objective to provide platform for the students to showcase their talent with a competitive spirit. The event was successful enough to attract as many as 100 registrations which include all the rounds. The festival executed with a total of 4 rounds planned and organized at its best of quality. The event was sponsored by Big Mishra’s, Maruthi Medicals, Elegant Pixels, Sri Krishna Aramane, RedBull and LIC of India.

      Bilancio 2015:

      The event name called “Bilancio” which means budget in Italian language. The main objective was to make aware about union budget & to become familiar with the terminologies used in budget arena & economy point of view. The focus was to appraise the knowledge pertaining to budget, analytical thinking ability & presentation skills as well, which this event was all about.

      Our event was scheduled to be started at 10.00 am on March 05 2015& it had successfully started with the formal function, Event Chief Guest Mr.K.M.Balajee- Asst director in MSME& HOD of DSCE DOMS- Dr.K.G. Hemalatha. K.M.Balajee Sir addressed the students regarding the various terminologies i.e. Cause & effect relationship between budget and economy, which was very informative &student accepted in a right spirit.
